Where does one live in New York?

studio

We were lucky enough to secure a fully furnished studio apartment on Park Avenue to get Gambit and I started.

The place is great.

There is a doorman to open the door as we enter and leave, super fast internet, cable tv, huge stove and oven in a small kitchen, queen sized bed, plenty of wardrobe space, and it is extremely well situated.

So well situated that we have a corner apartment which features a view of the Empire State Building (when you stick your head out the window heh heh).

Now there is always some downsides to places.  And the only things I could fault would be that it sometimes feels like there is no noise insulation as we can hear the police whizzing by early in the morning and the garbage trucks.  And the heater makes a knocking sound, as if it were knocking on our door first to check we are in before turning on.

But apart from that, our modern, semi-luxurious studio is perfect for us for the first 60 days.
