I had bought a Groupon voucher for Eileen’s Cheesecake while Gambit’s parents were in town. Eileen’s were celebrating their 30th anniversary at the time and through Groupon, I paid $30 and received $40 to spend in store.
I had been dying to try Eileen’s for a long time as I had heard amazing things about their cheesecakes. I had actually attempted to go there twice in the past and was unsuccessful both times.
One afternoon after work, I caught the train down and used my voucher and bought a plain 10” cheesecake and four smaller cheesecakes (3 x salted caramel and 1 x raspberry).
Eileen’s plain cheesecake was lovely and light. It had a biscuit / cookie base and although not the ‘cleanest’ in presentation, it is probably my most favourite cheesecake so far.
I didn’t think to take photos of the small cheesecakes as they were distributed into bellies far too quickly.
There is no doubt I will be returning to Eileen’s.
