Travel: Lunch at Dandelion & Driftwood, Brisbane

Gambit and I popped into Dandelion & Driftwood for lunch when we were in Brisbane.

I found Dandelion & Driftwood online when I searched for places in Brisbane that had excellent coffee. Upon our visit, we were not disappointed.

I ordered a mocha and it was the waiter’s suggestion to have the Driftwood Blend.

For lunch, Gambit ordered “The Dandy Man – traditional corn & zucchini fritters served with fluffy scrambled eggs, avocado & rocket, toasted pine nuts, accompanied with sweet chili jam and cream cheese”. Everything on the plate was delicious.

I wasn’t in the mood for a very big lunch so I opted for a scone with cream and jam which was delightful.

I am definitely adding Dandelion & Driftwood as a place to go back to when I am in Brisbane next. I love the decor – it is feminine/girly but since I’m female, it was right up my alley. It was a mix of fabric and wood and if I ever get a house home to decorate (hint hint Gambit), it’d be something I’d consider for the dining area.

If you’d like to visit them as well, head to 1/45 Gerler Rd, Hendra QLD 4011. The service was excellent and they knew their beans.
